Jennifer Rae Pierce

Jennifer Rae Pierce is an urban biodiversity planner and political ecologist who specializes in facilitating the development of urban environmental and social policy. She is presently a PhD candidate at UBC and an active participant in a United Christian congregation and interfaith environmental stewardship groups. She is also founder of the Cities Biodiversity Indicators coalition, an online hub for urban biodiversity activities. Jennifer is concerned about environmental integrity and social justice, particularly across religious, cultural, and political divisions. She brought considerable dynamic energy to the ISC Board of Directors last year, and continues to make herself available to the ISC as an Advisor.
